The government says it has with immediate effect, moved the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration, albeit temporarily, to the Administration and General Services Wings of the Golden Jubilee House.
A statement by the Office of The Chief of Staff said as a long-term solution, a new structure to house the Ministry is to be expeditiously constructed at the repossessed parcel of land at Airport, where the former International Students Hostel was located.
The relocation has become necessary after fire gutted the entire 10-storey building of the Ministry, almost a fortnight ago.
