The Deputy Director-General advised staff to exhibit a high sense of professionalism and always ensure that their services are geared towards the betterment of society. He commended both past and present staff for working tirelessly to sustain the Corporation since its establishment 74 years ago.
The Acting Regional Director, Chris Alalbila expressed gratitude to the Deputy Director General for visiting the Region twice within 18 months to acquaint himself with the challenges of staff of the Corporation.
Mr. Alalbila appealed to management of GBC to expedite action on the construction of a fence wall for the Regional station to ensure security of workers and equipment.
