IMMEDIATELY AFTER losing via a controversial split decision to Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey insists his eyes are now fixed on fighting the popular boxers in his division.
Speaking in a radio chat with Kessben FM from his USA base, Clottey said fighting the big guys would naturally increase his purse and make him rich.
The Ghanaian pugilist explained that coming face-to-face with the famous boxers would contribute to sell his popularity to the entire globe since such fights are telecast live around the world.
He was of the conviction that he was robbed when he lost to Miguel Cotto last Saturday, but he was quick to appeal to Ghanaians to put the shocker behind them and support him in his future bouts, insisting that his best days were yet to come.
Still on the fight, he contended that he was the aggressor on the night, adding that he landed more shots than Cotto did so he was extremely surprised that he was declared the loser.
On his future plans, Clottey said he would surely square it out with one of the famous boxers before the year comes to an end.
