WHO WINS THE DECEMBER POLLS?

Whereas some political pundits and observers have given credence to the various polls that have been conducted in the country as who is likely to win this year's election, the opposition NDC has balderdash the polls. All the polls conducted so far have given the NPP the lead even the NDC own polls conducted by an international pollster had them trailing behind the NPP. Put it bluntly, the NPP is winning the election.

But let me share with Ghanaians why majority of the electorate all clamouring for the NPP and Nana Akufo Addo.It is evidence that whereas Nana Akufo Addo is attracting more neutrals to the NPP, Prof.Atta Mills has not attracted a single admirer for his course (NDC), though both the NPP and the NDC core supporters have almost remained loyal. Why then is Prof.Atta Mills not attracting any admirer to the NDC? Let's face the truth, that lecturer is not a politician and coupled with the NDC own posture in Ghana politics, have made both Prof.Atta Mills and the NDC unattractive for this year's election. The reasons why the electorate will reject Prof. Atta Mills and the NDC are summaries below;

1. Prof.Atta Mills is not an astute politician. Is it the reason why Mrs.Rawlings said “this time we are not going to allow Prof. Atta Mills to do his own thing''? Again, is it the reason why Mr.Jerry Rawlings has taken over the campaign?

2. Prof. Mills seems not to ginger enthusiasm when on the rally stage. How can his posture motivate his team?

3. The NDC flag bearer is seen in the NDC as a novices in the P/NDC agenda and the indigenous members won't respect him.

4. There is every indication that Mr.Jerry Rawlings will take over the running of the NDC.A typical example of things to come, was how Prof. Atta Mills was sandwiched by Mr. Jerry Rawlings during the launch of their manifesto.

5. Prof. Atta Mills lacks the international flair that will arouse interest from the international community.

6. Many people are also surprised why the NDC flag bearer did not use his current picture/image on his posters as a way of meeting international and legal requirement.

7. Prof.Atta Mill's leadership qualities have been criticised by even his own party members.

8. Many Psychologists also believed that Prof.Atta Mills facial expression when speaking is not the best traits for a good leader.

9. The P/NDC had 19 years in government so many believed that at least 16 years for the NPP makes sense.

10. The socialist/militant posture of the NDC scared many people and there is overwhelming believe that the freedom we are enjoying now will be smashed by the NDC.

11. The NDC socialist/militant posturing discourages many investors.

12. The NDC goes to the countryside telling people that, they have change, certainly not, because all the old guards are still around and will surely emerge; is it right to describe them as chameleon?

13. The NDC's conduct has seriously come under international scrutiny.

So why are the overwhelming majority of the electorate going to vote for Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP?

1. Nana Akufo Addo is well- placed to take the toughest decision that will propel this country forward.

2. Today, Nana Akufo Addo is getting more admirers than all the other presidential candidates.

3. The manner Nana Akufo Addo has energised the youth of this country has been hailed by many. He actually gives hope for the hopeless.

4. Nana Akufo Addo's international links will surely motivate foreign investors to invest in this country, the only means by which jobs can be created.

5. It is refreshing to know the sheer number of Ghanaian entrepreneurs in the Diaspora who trust the NPP presidential candidate and many are planning re-locating into the country.

6. Many electorates also believed that Nana Akufo Addo appearance on the World stage will be a pride moment to all Ghanaians.

7. The NPP presidential candidate's bilingual (French and English) advantage will be a huge benefit to this country.

8. The choice of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia by Nana Akufo Addo's has been hailed by the international community and economic experts as the best team to catapult this country forward.

9. The NPP presidential candidates strong believe in the rule of law will surely change the attitude Ghanaians have for the laws of the land.

10. The best and strong politician among the presidential candidates is Nana Akufo Addo.

11. Nana Akufo Addo has continued to demonstrate decisive and visionary leadership qualities.

12. The massive infrastructure developments that have taken place in the country have been admired by many Ghanaians thus they will retain the NPP.

13. The foundation laid by the Kufour Administration can only be built upon by Nana Akufo Addo.

The signs are clear; Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP are going to win the December 7th election. That victory is non-negotiable; no amount of propaganda (lies) and threats from the NDC will change the minds of Ghanaians. The electorate overwhelmingly believed that the humane campaign strategy adopted by Nana Akufo Addo clearly shows how great this seasoned politician is.
