The Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, has donated a brand new 18-seater Benz Sprinter bus to his constituency.
The bus, worth hundreds of thousands of Ghana cedis, was handed over to the constituency party on Thursday, Otctober 1, 2026.
Presenting the bus to the party's constituency executives, Dr. Afriyie said the gesture was aimed at improving party work and enhancing the living conditions of party members.
According to him, the vehicle will be used to support party activities and cater for the welfare of party members, thereby improving the sense of belonging among the party fraternity.
He stated, "NPP is a family, but here at Effiduase-Asokore, we are more than a family, and I know this vehicle will help improve living conditions of the NPP fraternity."
The MP added, "It is the will of God for me to present the vehicle today, on behalf of my family and my good conscience, I present this vehicle to the elephant family here at my constituency."
Constituency executives who received the bus expressed their profound gratitude to the MP, describing the donation as timely and a major boost to party organization at the grassroots level.
Dr. Afriyie, for his part, pledged his unwavering commitment to supporting the welfare of party members and his constituents as a whole.
