President John Dramani Mahama is heading to the Upper West Region as part of his ongoing nationwide Resetting Ghana Tour, which is aimed at deepening engagement with citizens and promoting his government’s national reset agenda.
The President is scheduled to visit the region from Friday, September 11 to Saturday, September 12, 2026, for a series of engagements with residents, community leaders and other stakeholders.
The Upper West visit forms part of a broader nationwide initiative by President Mahama to interact directly with Ghanaians and discuss government policies, programmes and the development priorities of the various regions.
During his stay, the President is expected to meet stakeholders and communities across the region while outlining the government’s achievements, ongoing initiatives and plans under the Resetting Ghana agenda.
The engagements will also give residents an opportunity to present their concerns, discuss challenges affecting their communities and share their expectations directly with the President and government officials.
The tour is expected to further strengthen dialogue between the government and citizens as the administration advances its development agenda.
