Damptey Family Donates Polytank To Abomosu Presbyterian Church In Memory Of Late Vida Agyebeng Damptey

The family of the late Madam Vida Agyebeng Damptey has donated a 2,500-litre polytank to the Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Abomosu, as part of activities marking the first anniversary of her passing.

The presentation was made on Sunday, August 30, 2026, during a Memorial and Thanksgiving Service organised by the family to celebrate her life and give thanks to God for His grace and sustenance since her passing in 2025.

Family members, friends, sympathisers and members of the congregation gathered at the Prince of Peace PCG to remember a woman whose life was characterised by faith, love, service and devotion to her family and community.

Madam Vida Agyebeng Damptey is fondly remembered as a devoted mother, loving sister, committed Christian and a woman of grace and compassion. Although a year has passed since her death, the family said her values and the impact she made on the lives of those around her continue to endure.

As a lasting tribute to her memory, the Damptey family presented the 2,500-litre water storage tank, together with a cash donation and other gifts, to the church. The donation is intended to support the church's activities and contribute to the welfare of the congregation.

The gesture reflected the family's desire to commemorate the anniversary not only through remembrance and prayer but also through an act of service that would provide a practical and lasting benefit to the church community.

The Memorial and Thanksgiving Service also provided an opportunity for the family to express gratitude to God for the life of Madam Vida Agyebeng Damptey and for the strength granted them throughout the year following their loss.

The family expressed its sincere appreciation to the Minister-in-Charge, the Session and the entire congregation of Prince of Peace PCG, Abomosu, as well as relatives, friends and sympathisers who have supported them in diverse ways since her passing.

For the Damptey family, the first anniversary was both a solemn remembrance and a celebration of a life whose influence continues through the values she upheld and the people she touched.
