
The Omanhene of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, has commended the Chief of Gomoa Brofoyedur, Nana Esoun Abonyi Kwaata II—who also serves as the Esihene of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area—for his unwavering commitment to peace, stability and development in the community.
Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI expressed delight that Gomoa Brofoyedur did not record any teenage pregnancies during this year’s Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE), a development he described as encouraging and worthy of praise.
He stressed the need for collective effort to restore the community’s lost glory, noting that Nana Esoun Abonyi Kwaata II has proven to be an epitome of peace and development not only in Gomoa Brofoyedur, but across the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area and Ghana as a whole.
Nana Esoun Abonyi Kwaata II, in his remarks, expressed profound gratitude to Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI for gracing this year’s Eguantodo Festival, saying that despite his tight schedules, the Omanhene consistently finds time to celebrate with the people—an act that has rekindled the spirit of the community.
He described the Omanhene’s presence as historic, noting that it was the first time in over 20 years since his enstoolment as substantive Chief of Gomoa Brofoyedur that such an honour had been bestowed on the community.
Nana Esoun Abonyi Kwaata II also highlighted several self‑help projects undertaken to improve livelihoods in the community, including the construction of a 22‑seater toilet facility to enhance sanitation and a modern community durbar grounds to host social events.
