Member of Parliament for Chiana-Paga, Hon. Nikyema Billa Alamzy, has donated GH¢14,000 to support the completion of a community-initiated CHPS compound at Kazugu in the constituency.
The project was initiated by residents of Kazugu as part of efforts to improve access to healthcare in the community. The residents subsequently appealed to the MP for assistance towards completing the facility.
Responding to the request, Hon. Alamzy presented the GH¢14,000 donation to the community today, describing the initiative as an important step towards addressing the healthcare needs of residents.
The MP commended the people of Kazugu for taking the initiative to establish the CHPS compound and assured them of his continued support to help ensure the successful completion and operationalisation of the facility.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the community, residents expressed their profound gratitude to Hon. Alamzy for his gesture and commitment to his responsibilities as their Member of Parliament.
They said the donation had come as a great relief and would significantly contribute to bringing the project closer to completion.
The residents also prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection and upliftment for the MP, expressing hope that he would continue to support development initiatives across the Chiana-Paga Constituency.
