CIPA Holdings Group, the Pan-African climate-resilient infrastructure company, has further strengthened its position as one of Ghana’s emerging leaders in sustainable infrastructure after being named Renewable Energy Solutions & Sustainable Infrastructure Company of the Year at the 3rd Ghana Business Integrity Awards 2026.

At the same ceremony, the Group’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Kwaku Osei Sarpong, received the Visionary Leader in Clean Energy Financing & Sustainable Infrastructure Development award in recognition of his contribution to advancing innovative infrastructure financing and accelerating Africa’s clean energy transition.

Held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on the 24th of July 2026 under the theme “Sustaining Trust: Integrity as the Currency for Business Growth,” the awards recognise organisations and business leaders that demonstrate excellence in ethical leadership, corporate governance, transparency, accountability and responsible business practices.

Organised by Strategic Brand Focus Africa (SBF Africa) in partnership with Premier Business Magazine, the Ghana Business Integrity Awards has become an important platform for celebrating organisations and individuals who uphold integrity while driving sustainable economic growth and long-term national development.

For CIPA Holdings Group, the recognition reflects the company’s continued evolution from a renewable energy developer into an institutional platform that combines infrastructure development, innovative financing and project execution to accelerate Ghana’s energy transition. By developing financing structures that mobilise private capital for climate resilient infrastructure, CIPA is helping to address one of the sector’s greatest challenges: making sustainable energy projects commercially viable and ready for investment. This integrated approach has positioned the Group as a trusted partner for governments, financial institutions, development finance institutions and private investors seeking bankable infrastructure opportunities.

Operating as what it describes as an Institutional Integrator, CIPA works at the intersection of policy, capital and execution, developing climate resilient infrastructure projects that enable commercial, industrial, mining, agricultural and public sector organisations to transition to cleaner, more reliable and more cost-effective energy systems.

This work is delivered through CIPA Energy Resources, the Group’s energy development company responsible for developing, financing, implementing and managing clean energy infrastructure for commercial, industrial and mining clients. Its integrated offering includes solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related energy solutions delivered through an innovative Solar as a Service model that eliminates the need for significant upfront capital investment.

Through this model, CIPA Energy Resources designs, finances, installs, owns, operates and maintains solar and BESS assets on behalf of its clients. Clients pay only for the energy services they consume rather than the cost of the underlying infrastructure. This approach enables organisations to strengthen energy security, improve operational resilience, reduce Scope 2 emissions and preserve balance sheet capacity for core business investment while supporting their wider sustainability objectives.

Beyond project development, CIPA continues to pioneer innovative financing models that improve access to renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. Through strategic partnerships with banks, pension funds, development finance institutions and private investors, the Group is helping to unlock capital for projects that support industrial decarbonisation, energy security and climate resilience. Its growing focus on sustainable finance reflects a broader vision of building investment-ready platforms capable of attracting both domestic and international capital into Ghana’s infrastructure sector.

In infrastructure development, integrity extends well beyond corporate governance. It is fundamental to attracting investment, sustaining long term partnerships and delivering projects that financiers, governments and communities can trust. As climate infrastructure increasingly depends on blended finance and institutional investment, transparent governance, disciplined execution and commercial accountability have become essential components of project bankability.

The dual recognition therefore underscores the close relationship between integrity, innovative financing and sustainable development. While CIPA Holdings Group was recognised for its organisational excellence in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure, Osei Sarpong’s individual award acknowledges his leadership in advancing financing solutions that bridge the gap between capital markets and infrastructure delivery. Under his leadership, the Group has championed commercially sustainable models that enable governments, businesses and development partners to accelerate the deployment of clean energy and climate resilient infrastructure across Africa.

“In infrastructure and energy, trust is not a soft value. It is the actual currency,” said Kwaku Osei Sarpong, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CIPA Holdings Group. “Without it, financiers do not commit, governments do not partner and industries do not believe the power will stay on. This recognition belongs to the entire CIPA team, our financing and implementation partners, and every institution that has trusted us to help deliver sustainable infrastructure across Africa.”

He added that as Ghana continues to attract increasing interest from domestic and international investors seeking opportunities in renewable energy and climate resilient infrastructure, maintaining the highest standards of governance, transparency and accountability will remain fundamental to unlocking long term investment and delivering infrastructure that creates lasting economic and social impact.

The latest recognition adds to a growing list of honours for both CIPA Holdings Group and its Founder, including a Forbes Africa feature, inclusion in the Gulf News UAE Global FDI Report, the Rising Star of the Year award at the Ghana Energy Awards 2024, the 40 Under 40 Award for Environmental and Climate Sustainability, recognition as Most Respected Entrepreneur in Renewable Energy (2026), the West Africa Nobles Award for Integrity and Business Excellence, and inclusion among Africa’s 100 Most Influential Young Leaders.

Collectively, these recognitions reflect CIPA’s growing influence in shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure financing across Africa. They underscore the Group’s commitment to combining innovation, commercial discipline and responsible leadership to develop infrastructure that delivers measurable environmental, social and economic value while creating long term opportunities for investors, businesses and communities.

Looking ahead, CIPA Holdings Group remains focused on expanding access to innovative financing, strengthening partnerships with governments, financial institutions, development finance institutions and private investors, and delivering commercially viable infrastructure that advances industrial competitiveness, energy security and sustainable economic growth across Ghana and the wider African continent.
