View from the MAGA Psychiatric Ward - Part 16

It is obviously what Sir William Shakespeare, the globally famous and immortalized Bard-of-Avon, UK, would have either cynically and/or sarcastically characterized as: “Much Ado About Absolutely Nothing of Moment” or great significance, in Contemporary English parlance. We are here, of course, talking about the recent din over the decision by President Donald “Make America Great Again” John Trump to make the clearly and purely paranoid decision of flying to the Islamic Republic of Turkey and then returning to Washington, DC on two different aircraft or planes for the most recent summit confabulation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, on the dubious grounds of heightened “Security Concerns” by some members of his staff and his national security constabulary (See “Security Concerns Prompted Trump to Depart Turkey on Older Plane While Sending Qatari Donated Jet Ahead, Officials Say” CNN 7/9/26).

Now, it goes without saying that irrespective of whether in peacetime or wartime, any foreign travel that the most influential and powerful public official in the United States of America embarks upon would, perforce, capture the sedulous attention and the concern of our National Security Operatives, more so, when ever since he was returned to The White House, for the second nonconsecutive time and tenure in office, the gruff-talking and howling New York City-born, self-described and self-infatuated Real-Estate Developer, has nauseatingly demonstrated and, indeed, continues to scandalously demonstrate that he has absolutely no candid concern for the greater wellbeing of the overwhelming majority of the American People, except for the primitive and feral interest of himself and the interest of his family members, close relatives and business associates; which, of course, includes his staff of ministerial and/or cabinet appointees.

Consequently, Mr. Trump has been much quicker to act out his public policies at a lightning rate of speed than, as with many a serious and forward-looking or visionary leader, “hesitate” or “hasten” slowly, as the tired, old adage goes. In the process, as had been widely anticipated from the get-go, as it were, many of his historically unprecedented autocratic measures, such as his Darwinian imposition of retributive and witheringly vindictive and exploitative tariffs on nearly each and every country around the globe, have had to be summarily reversed by the Chief Justice John Roberts, Jr.,-headed Supreme Court of the United States of America (SCOTUS), on grounds of the abject lack of constitutional orthodoxy and/or statutory validity.

Which has also, predictably, led to the effusive squirting of rhetorically intemperate tantrum and venom against the members of the highest judicial establishment in the putatively envisaged Most Powerful Country in the Entire Universe. But, of course, the Dear Reader can bet his or her proverbial bottom-dollar that the Ayatollahs and the Revolutionary Guards of the Holy Islamic Republic of Iran (“I-Ran,” in Mainstream Conservative American Parlance) are not buying such codswallop, as Londoners are wont to say. Which, of course, brings us back to the metaphorical Square One, which regards the fact behind the reason why President Trump would, apparently, qualmlessly fly out of Washington, DC and the United States as a whole or in effect, on the new Qatari-donated (actually shamelessly extorted) $400-Million (USD) valued Ultra-Modern Jet, at least that was what the American public was let on to believe at the time of the widely ballyhooed combination of excitement and controversy that greeted what is fast being presently perceived as a Modern-Day Trojan Horse by The MAGA Apostolate, to Turkey for the most recent summit of the membership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or the Manifest-Destiny Alliance of White Supremacists; and then, almost abruptly, decide to fly out of Ankara on one of those old military jets that have long been earmarked or specially selected and designated as Air Force One, for the private and the exclusive use of or by the President and the Leader of the so-called Free and Civilized World.

I bet my last and proverbial bottom-dollar or penny that were ours, really, a free and a civilized world, Messrs. Elon Musk and Jeffrey Preston - aka Jeff Bezos - would not be so avidly and vacuously scouting desperately and hallucinatorily for new lands and habitable locations in outer space, when there is still a heck of a lot of humongous charitable work to be done for the world’s most immiserated and unspeakably deprived human majority. But here is the rub, though, as the revered and the immortalized Bard-of-Avon would have cooed. Which is that if, indeed, President Donald John “Finish Your Genocidal Gaza Slaughter Benny Netanyahu” Trump really believed that the Government and the People of the Democratic Islamic Republic of Iran were “sleaze bags” and “kooks” who would not flinch for a split second to have him savagely rubbed out or assassinated in much the same way and manner as Messrs. Trump and “Mileikowsky” Netanyahu slaughtered the entire top-echelon leadership of the Iranian Government, including the 86-year-old Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on February 28, 2026, then, to begin with, why had the 80-year-old President Trump even consented to having the most recent NATO Summit held in Turkey or Turkiye, just next door to Iran, and then have himself flown to Ankara on the $400-Million Qatari-extorted jet, knowing full well that the latter flying machine was afflicted with or beset by serious security concerns?

Something, obviously, does not seem right here; and that “something” clearly has to do with who really fits the description of a “sleaze bag” or a “kook.” There is obviously a crude and thinly veiled element of Arabophobia and Anti-Islamo-Persian paranoia in the present MAGA-occupied White House, especially when any critically thinking observer of critic of MAGA political culture also fathoms the deliberately grotesque Islamicized pronunciation of the middle name of former President Barack “Hussein” Obama, a Kenyan-fathered and White-American mothered Hawaiian-born bona fide African American and American Citizen with consanguineal or ancestral roots going much deeper and farther in American History and Culture tha the Half-Scottish and Half-German (Bavarian)-descended Mr. Trump.

One only hopes that the apparently pathologically Transaction-Addicted (Did Yours Truly hear someone say “Transgender-Addicted”?) Arab Sheikhs, Emirs and Sultans would wise up to this morally degenerate and reprehensibly “kooky” game of White-Supremacist Swill and call the same out for what it clearly and inescapably is. The flagrantly Anti-Shia undertones of the Trumpian snide must also not be lost sight of. Indeed, as the world-renowned British-Ghanaian-American scholar, thinker and philosopher and erudite educator, Professor Anthony Appiah, is fond of saying: “Ours is a cosmopolitan world of totally strangers healthily bound by a chain of enlightened civility and a harmonious culture of peaceful coexistence and the respectful mutuality of our delicate bond of humanity.” So much for nihilistic Trumpian murderous foolery!
