French DJ and electropop musician Kavinsky – whose real name was Vincent Belorgey – has been found dead in his home in Paris, BFM TV and Le Figaro newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The Paris prosecutors' office has opened an investigation into the cause of death, and said in a statement that first responders had found "no suspicious elements" at the scene. He was 50 years old.
Kavinsky, whose song "Nightcall" featured as the title track of the hit 2011 film Drive, performed alongside Belgian singer Angèle at the 2024 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
