Development advocacy group Alagumgube has been honoured with a citation by Bunsula Entertainment in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the development of the Upper East Region and its unwavering commitment to preserving the region's cultural heritage.
The citation was presented during the Upper East Anaanure Rivalry 2026, held at OLA Parish in Bolgatanga, where Alagumgube was celebrated for its impactful role in promoting regional development, empowering young people, and safeguarding the cultural identity of the Upper East Region.
According to Bunsula Entertainment, the honour acknowledges Alagumgube's exemplary dedication to advocacy, mentorship, and community service. Although the group attended the event as distinguished guests, they actively participated in the programme, serving as judges and earning praise for their integrity, fairness, and wisdom throughout the competition.
The organizers also commended Alagumgube for its generous support to the event and the valuable knowledge, ideas, and guidance it shared with both organizers and participants. They noted that the group's mentorship and encouragement have helped strengthen the vision, confidence, and capacity of young people across the region.
