President John Dramani Mahama is expected to continue his nationwide Resetting Ghana Tour in the Volta Region on Thursday, July 16.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 15, through the Presidency's official social media account.
"Tomorrow, President John Dramani Mahama takes the #ResettingGhanaTour to the Volta Region to engage citizens and drive the national reset agenda," the post read.
The Resetting Ghana Tour is a nationwide public engagement initiative launched by the Mahama administration to account for its stewardship, explain key government policies and interact with citizens across the country's 16 regions.
The tour provides a platform for the President and senior government officials to outline progress made in implementing the government's "Resetting Ghana" agenda, which focuses on economic recovery, job creation, governance reforms, infrastructure development, education, healthcare and the fight against illegal mining.
It also gives residents, traditional authorities, civil society organisations, business leaders and other stakeholders the opportunity to raise concerns, offer suggestions and engage directly with the President on issues affecting their communities.
The Volta Regional engagement is expected to bring together a cross-section of residents and traditional leaders.
