The process was supervised by the former MP for Mfantsiman, Hon. Ophelia Mensah-Hayford, and Madam Sarah Afful, representing the Central Regional Executives of the NPP.

Hon. Ophelia Mensah-Hayford commended the delegates for the peaceful conduct of the elections, describing it as an indication that the NPP is poised to win the 2028 General Elections.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Edward Mintah pledged a transparent and inclusive administration aimed at expanding the party’s support base in the Gomoa Central Constituency.

“What we need is unity of purpose to recapture our lost Parliamentary seat and also win the Presidential elections,” he said.

He expressed appreciation on behalf of the elected executives to all candidates, Polling Station Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Council of Elders, and Patrons for contributing to the success of the elections.

Mr. Mintah assured the youth at the grassroots of his commitment to their welfare, urging them to work assiduously toward securing victory in the 2028 General Elections and forming the next government under the leadership of Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
