
The Alagumgube Association has been honoured for its outstanding contribution to community development, youth empowerment, and cultural promotion during the grand Blazing Album Launch and Zom Ko’om Festival Climax organised by Teacher Loud-Mouth Production under the theme, “Back to Our Roots with the Pentecost Spirit.”
The colourful event brought together traditional authorities, religious leaders, youth groups, music lovers, and key stakeholders from different communities to celebrate culture, music, spirituality, and unity.
The Association received a special award in recognition of its continuous support for development activities and cultural advancement across the region. Representing the Association at the ceremony was Aloysius Atibila, who officially received the honour on behalf of the organization amid applause from invited guests and participants.
Speaking during the event, Mr. Atibila emphasized the importance of unity, peace, wisdom, and collective development. He urged the youth and stakeholders to remain committed to activities that promote progress, preserve cultural identity, and strengthen togetherness within communities.
“On behalf of the Alagumgube Association across the diaspora, Africa, and all regions, I sincerely accept this award with gratitude and humility,” he stated. “May this album continue to inspire hearts, revive our cultural values, and strengthen the Pentecost spirit among us all.”
The event also witnessed the presence of respected personalities including the Tenuo Molgo Tindaana, parish priests from OLA Parish and their colleagues, the Christian Mothers Association, representatives of the Bongo Naaba, supporters of Barnabas Ayanoore, music groups, and several other dignitaries whose participation added prestige to the celebration.
As part of its support towards the success of the programme, the Alagumgube Association donated GH₵400 and an additional GH₵100 to support open performance activities during the festival.
The festival featured thrilling musical performances, cultural displays, entertainment, and inspirational moments that reflected the true essence of the theme, “Back to Our Roots with the Pentecost Spirit.”
Participants described the event as a major platform for promoting culture, spirituality, and community unity.
