Isaac Adongo, the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, is launch a self-agriculture initiative aimed at enhancing productivity among local farmers. As part of this initiative, he has pledged to provide five tractors to assist farmers during the current farming season, ensuring they have the necessary tools to improve their yields.
In addition to the tractor support, Adongo has committed to constructing nine dams across various communities within his constituency. These dams are intended to facilitate fish farming, which will not only promote sustainable agricultural practices but also create job opportunities for the unemployed youth, addressing the issue of unemployment.
This initiative reflects Adongo's dedication to boosting the local economy and supporting the agricultural sector, which is vital for the livelihoods of many residents in Bolgatanga Central. By investing in infrastructure and resources, he aims to empower farmers and provide sustainable employment options for young people in the area.
The lawmaker also assured the residents and farmers of making fertilizers available and accessible in all parts of the constituency, noting that farmers would be able to make good harvest.
