The National Identification Authority (NIA) has opened applications for temporary positions to support its mass registration exercise for children aged 6 to 14 across Ghana.
The exercise aims to capture the data of eligible children onto the National Identity Register as part of efforts to strengthen the country’s identification system.
The temporary roles available include Technical Support Officer, Commissioner for Oath, Card Verification Officer, Mobile Registration Workstation Operator, and Registration Officer.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the official NIA Recruitment Portal at https://recruitment.nia.gov.gh/ before the deadline on 22nd March 2026.
The announcement was shared on NIA’s social media platforms on Monday, March 16.
“All positions are temporary contract roles to support the nationwide registration exercise, and applicants are advised to carefully review the job requirements and complete the application process on the portal,” the NIA stated in part of the statement.
The authority further cautioned prospective applicants that it does not charge any fees for recruitment and urged applicants to be wary of fraudsters and unauthorised agents.
“Applications must be submitted only through the official NIA recruitment portal, and applicants should ensure a clear picture is taken for verification purposes,” the authority cautioned.
