Afua Kobi Ampem Girls' Senior High School has made history by winning the Ashanti Regional Championship of the 68th Independence Day Quiz Competition, defeating strong contenders, including Prempeh College and Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School, the defending national champions.

The victorious team comprised four outstanding students: Stephanie Anyeweibei, Mabel Gyakyie, Victoria Apau, and Elsie Osei, the Assistant Head Girl. Their journey to the regional title saw them excel through the Inter-District, Inter-Zonal, and Super-Zonal Stages, showcasing exceptional knowledge and teamwork.

With this remarkable achievement, Afua Kobi Ampem Girls’ S.H.S. has earned a place in the National Stage of the competition, set for February 14, 2025.

The school’s success is credited to the dedication and hard work of the students, along with the expert guidance of their coordinators: Solomon Ayaamo, Sasu Joseph Isaac Mensah, Collins Baidoo, and Kwaku Adomako.
