Angel Broadcasting Network, the parent company of Angel FM and TV, has in its possesion, a footage of the shooting incident that left its employee, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, with one damaged eye.

The renowned broadcaster, who heads the ABN News Department as Director, is currently undergoing eye treatment in Dubai.

Reports indicate that the eye affected by the gunpowder may not regain sight, but doctors are working to restore vision in the other eye, which became blurry after the incident.

To dispel misinformation surrounding the incident, the station aired the footage that clearly depicts what transpired today, Wednesday, January 22.

ABN has also extended well wishes to the employee.

STATEMENT ON KOFI ADOMAH
Angel Broadcasting Network announces that our Director of the News Department, Kofi Adomah, is indisposed and has been hospitalized.

The renowned broadcaster suffered a life-threatening injury after being shot in the face.

The incident occurred in Dormaa Ahenkro during his coverage of the Kwafie Festival in December 2024.

The management of Angel FM has obtained exclusive footage of the unfortunate incident and the individuals behind the act.

The videos will air for the first time on the Angel Morning Show on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, particularly to clear the misinformation and controversy surrounding the incident.

We wish Kofi the best in his recovery and ask for prayers for him and his family during these difficult times.
