The management of the Bank of Ghana has been in a meeting with Union Members of the bank as well as the Industrial and Commercial Workers' Union (ICU) to prevent another strike action.
Workers of the bank have resumed wearing red arm bands one month after an earlier sit down strike over demands for better conditions of service.
The workers who are going about their normal duties however said the outcome of today's meeting would determine the next line of action.
The decision to resume wearing of red armbands is as a result of what the workers said is the feet-dragging of management on negotiations concerning their remuneration.
However a source close to management of the Central Bank is hopeful the impasse will be resolved by close of work on Thursday.
The threat of strike by the workers could have dire consequences on the re-denomination exercise which takes of in July.
