The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation, in collaboration with Blaze Investment, has commissioned an ultra-modern mini stadium in Tolon, Ghana.

This impressive sports facility was made possible through the tireless efforts of Hon. Habib Iddrisu, Member of Parliament for the Tolon Constituency.

The Tolon Mini Stadium boasts top-notch amenities, including a 75m x 110m FIFA-standard artificial turf, spectator stands, VIP lounge, changing rooms, floodlights, and washrooms.

Dr. Dominic Eduah, CEO of the GNPC Foundation, praised Hon. Habib Iddrisu and Blaze Investment for their exceptional work, describing the facility as the best ever financed by GNPC.

“I commend your member of Parliament for the efforts he put in getting us to sponsor this project. This is the first time we have financed a project with spectator stands, changing rooms and a VIP Lounge. This is the best we have done," he said.

The stadium is expected to provide a significant boost to sports development in the region, offering young athletes a world-class platform to hone their skills. The GNPC Foundation's investment in the project demonstrates its commitment to promoting sports and community development in Ghana.

Alhaji Salifu Sinkare, CEO of Blaze Investment, expressed pride in his company's work, touting the stadium as one of the best in the country. He emphasized the importance of proper maintenance to ensure the facility's longevity.

The commissioning of the Tolon Mini Stadium marks a significant milestone in GNPC's efforts to give back to the community. As a leading national oil company, GNPC is dedicated to supporting sustainable development projects that benefit Ghanaians.

The stadium's completion has generated excitement among locals, who are eager to utilize the facility and promote sports development in the region.
