EIB Network, a media conglomerate in Ghana, has announced the initiation of an independent investigation into the recent release of an intimate video allegedly involving one of its employees, Serwaa Amihere.
The network, through one of its stations, GHOne TV, expressed deep concern over the circulation of the video.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, April 10, the management of EIB Network the ongoing criminal proceedings initiated by the State against individuals allegedly responsible for its publication.
The company's response to the incident was delayed due to the legal proceedings, preventing immediate public comment, said the statement.
“Management has also decided to conduct an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the release of the said video,” it stated.
The findings of the investigation, according to EIB, will be made public as soon as the process is completed, followed by necessary action to seek justice for its broadcaster Serwaa Amihere.
