The Project Manager for A.D.K Consultum, Mr. Francis Obeng Acheampong has lauded contractors working on the Gomoa Afransi District Hospital popularly referred to as Agenda 111 for the good work done on the project.

"We are happy about the work done, so far so very good. It is about 80% complete and we are hoping for its early completion within a period of 3 months from today, looking at the zeal and commitment of the contractors.

"Work is progressing more than expected and there is high hopes for a finished product when we visit the site for another inspection," he stated.

Mr. Francis Obeng Acheampong stated these when a team of engineers and consultants accompanied by the Gomoa Central District Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo visited the project site to see the progress of work done by China State Engineering, Top International and MacDon Engineering.

"I would like to encourage other contractors working on the Agenda 111, projects across the country to emulate the commitment and dedication services done on the Gomoa Afransi project, excellent work done.

"The 20% of the work left is for finishing touches, especially for the drainage system. In the wake of the rainy season, we ought to find out problems associated with drainage-related issues and there are high hopes for its completion on time," Mr. Obeng Acheampong stated.

On security, the Project Manager noted that a solid fenced wall had been constructed to protect lives and properties at the site and prevent encroachment of the lands allocated for the hospital project.

Gomoa Central District Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo debunked rumours in the District that the Agenda 111 project at Gomoa Afransi has been abandoned due to lack of funds from the central government.

"As you can see, all the contractors are on site working assiduously for the work to be completed as early as possible to offer quality healthcare delivery to the people in Gomoa Central District and beyond.

"Those peddling political lies about the District Hospital must bow down their heads in shame. His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and his Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Muhamudu Bawumia led NPP Government is committed to quality and affordable access to healthcare in the country," he stated.

The Presiding Member accompanied the team of inspectors for Gomoa Central District Assembly, Hon. Ernest Quarm, Gomoa Central District Director of Community Development, Mr. Bashirudeen Wahab Aidoo and Madam Mabel Tsigbey, Government Appointees for Gomoa Central District Assembly.
