The world needs a new set of people

The human race Homo Sapiens was born in the southern part of Africa. With time humanity came along the question of how we want to live as individuals among other individuals and on state and cross-border levels. In time and in various corners of the world, various answers were given in part values seen as superior or universal forced onto other groups of people by violent forces or agreed legal strategies. The diversity of answers and the conflicts involved in the process helped mankind to find a broader and deeper understanding of the best way forward. Learning is by testing and failure never by simple answers.

While in ancient times the gap between the intellectual elite and the common citizen was wide education a privilege of the well-to-do leaders in Athens and Rome realized a citizenship well aware and fully practicing the ideas of humanity under the leadership and guidance of the rulers and Philosophers of their nations was the best way forward. In ancient Greece, Philosophers like Plato, Aristotle, and his student Alexander the Great, Epikur, Epiktet, Seneca, and others used their lives to think about humanity in its essential form words of wisdom valued over thousands of years in different ways of interpretation. The Romans saw in the fight of their Gods and Emperors against the one Christian God the pinnacle of human and universal values. Human interpretation of the world was replaced by universal beliefs that found their shape and form in Christian, Muslim, and Buddhist beliefs.

The time of dark medieval ages was a time of darkness for humanity indeed. Elites of royal and clerical descent took over the values of humanity to see their interpretation of them as the only ones right and used their constitutional powers to make their convictions work in the hearts and minds of their people and beyond borders in the colonies.

In both developments the state the community of the nation is the center of individual progress and the safety net for rainy days. To take bold steps in life is given into the hands of the very few the economic, political as well as cultural elite. Sporadically do citizens turn to the streets and express their concerns but have no inner drive for consistency of their convictions but rather retreat back into private life.

Some scientists predict the growth of the world population by 2060 will slow down and eventually become negative due to available space, shortage of food, less drinking water, the sense of human beings, conflicts, and economic growth in many rich and poor nations. These assumptions are not too convincing as the wealth needed to replace the number of children and the absence of good working social systems in e.g. Africa stimulate the birth rate rather.

As the number of the world's population increases so do the challenges mankind faces in the next 100, 200 to 300 years like climate change, wars, food and water shortages, power struggles, power shiftings, technologies setting off human workforce, fights for resources and territories in outer space, etc.

To manage and face these challenges the world needs a whole new set of people. People who take full responsibility for their lives regardless the circumstances they were born into or are constantly confronted with. No more excuses for why things did not turn out the way as wanted. This mentality brings us back to the beginning of man and humanity when hunting for food and collecting of berries in the woods in Europe and bushmeat in Africa was a personal and nothing but a personal affair no blame game on circumstances.
