Former President Mahama has returned on the road to the flagstaff house after the dramatic political events of 2016 and 2020

Interestingly, the former President chose Volta region as the most appropriate political environment to spark his re-election campaign.

Whoever offered him this advice, is probably sure of the voter numbers from the Volta Region and the chance he stood from igniting his political reinforcement processes from the world bank of social democracy.

JM, the messiah from the North, has been speaking quite unconventionally in the Volta region. He launched his campaign in UHAS, and proceeded to Hohoe, a constituency where under his watch the NDC lost the parliamentary elections terribly. Since 1992 when this party was formed, the NDC has always been strong in the Volta region, and this campaign activities in the region is a reawakening of the NDC to strengthen the base of the party at its home region.

A party without a grounded identity like the Rawlings’ NDC of the everyday people in Northern Ghana, the Volta and Ashanti regions, and across the country will not survive.

The message of Building The Ghana We Want Together, is a strategically placed campaign message, and a candidate that needs a chance to takeover from the disastrous failure of the NPP, must send a message of rebuilding to the everyday people from the everyday households in the republic today who know that the country is collapsed.

In Volta, the former President has been very inspirational, sometimes very comical, whatever that’s informing his sudden political language is very interesting and his advisers must be doing something right, maybe…
