The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkawkaw Constituency, Hon Joseph Frimpong has urged Nkawkaw based Akroma mining companies to do more in bringing development to the communities in which they operate.
He, however, commended Akroma Mining Company for its Corporate Social Responsibility to the operational area.
Hon. Joseph Frimpong made this statement when he paid a working visit to the mining company at Old-Esaase a suburb of Nkawkaw on Monday 1st March, 2021.
The purpose of the courtesy call is to have interactions with the management of the company how best the constituency which is endowed with minerals resources can benefit more and also to familiarize himself with the company and its activities.
Hon. Joseph Frimpong seized the occasion to admonish them to keep their environment clean and safe from all forms of activities that will jeopardize the lives of people in neighboring communities.
In attendance were the constituency chairman Osei Kwame Dankwah, Noah Brako 2020 campaign team coordinator, Morrison Nyarko aide to the MP in-charge of media and party faithful and sympathizers.
