President John Agyekum Kufuor presented two newly appointed Ambassadors with their Letters of Credence at the Castle, Osu.
hey are Mrs Margaret Ivy Amoakohene, High Commissioner to Canada and Mr Richard Oblitei Solomon, Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea.
President Kufuor had earlier administered to them the Oath of Allegiance, Oath of Office and the Oath of Secrecy.
He advised them to explore opportunities for partnerships that would help not only to promote peace and friendship but bring economic benefits to Ghana.
They should also reach out to all citizens of Ghana in their countries of accreditation and show goodwill to them and give them good counsel.
President Kufuor said they should be alert in terms of security, noting that territorial boundaries were no barriers to smart people, who might want to create confusion.
Responding, Mrs Amoakohene said they were grateful for the honour to serve the nation and promised that they would work diligently to justify the confidence President Kufuor had reposed in them.
