Delicious Ghana; The Best Delicacies Can Only Be Found In Ghana

Ghana is just not noted for her peaceful nature and hospitality but also for her delicious and nutritious delicacies. No wonder, Ghana jollof always wins. Let me take you through some of our nutritious meals.

FUFU.
If you are yet to come across this meal, then I guess you are not yet in Ghana. This meal is popular amongst the Akans especially the Ashantis and is one of the popular delicacies in Ghana. Just get your cassava or yam together with your plantain or your cocoyam and boil it.

Get your mortar and pestle and you are ready to pound your FUFU. You can accompany it with chicken/goat/beef soup or groundnut/peanut butter soup or even Palm nut soup. Don't overlick your fingers. You might end up chewing them.

RICE DISHES.
Our rice DISHES are the best you can come across. No wonder most people say that Ghana jollof tastes better than Nigerian or any other country's jollof. Try our omotuo( rice balls), Jollof, rice porridge, fried rice and etc. Your stay in Ghana just got better.

CORN DOUGH DISHES.
You definitely cannot do away with our corn dough DISHES. Especially our Ga and Fante Kenkey and our Banku. You definitely would love to accompany the kenkey with hot pepper, shito and some fried fish and the Banku is best accompanied by okro stew.

GARI AND BEANS
I can't forget the almighty g)b3 as it is mostly called. This is one of the meals that contains all the nutrients and will leave you full throughout the day. Gari and beans is mostly accompanied by fried ripe plantain and/or egg.

PLANTAIN AND YAM DISHES.
Our plantain and yam dishes too can't be forgotten. They are very nutritious and organic. I personally love them.
