In Ghana’s fast-evolving media and entertainment space, few creatives have transitioned as seamlessly across disciplines as Alexander Fifi Abaka. What began as a simple passion for blogging has matured into a multifaceted career spanning digital media, television production, and creative entrepreneurship.
Abaka first made his mark as a co-founder of Ghanandwom, a platform dedicated to amplifying Ghanaian music and culture. Through consistent storytelling, artist profiling, and digital engagement, Ghanandwom quickly became a respected voice within the country’s online music ecosystem—bridging the gap between emerging artists and their audiences.
But Abaka’s ambitions stretched far beyond digital publishing. He transitioned into television and content production, steadily building an impressive portfolio. On Accra Stay By Plan (Season 1), he served as Production Manager, coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth execution behind the scenes. His growth was evident when he advanced to Producer for Season 2, taking on a more strategic and creative leadership role.
His production credits extend further, including serving as Production Manager for both seasons of Kasa No Yɛ More, as well as Play By Ear Seasons 1 and 2. Across these projects, Abaka has demonstrated a strong ability to manage teams, execute complex productions, and deliver content that resonates with audiences.
Beyond production, he continues to shape the media landscape as both a personality and a business leader. He currently serves as Managing Director of Arts Business Multimedia, where he oversees creative direction, production strategy, and business growth initiatives.
