Ghanaian radio presenter and disc jockey DJ KA has addressed public speculation surrounding his leaked intimate video, clarifying that he is not married and that the woman in the footage is his ex-girlfriend.
Speaking during an interview on Angel FM Kumasi with MC Portfolio, DJ KA dismissed claims circulating on social media suggesting that the woman in the video was his wife.
According to him, the woman, identified in media reports as Ama Parone, was his former partner, and he is currently not married.
“The woman in the video is my ex-girlfriend. I am not married, so the claims that she is my wife are completely false,” he clarified.
The latest comments come months after an intimate video linked to the broadcaster circulated widely on social media, sparking public discussions and raising questions about his personal life.
DJ KA had previously explained that the footage was recorded approximately four years ago when he was working at Silver FM before joining Kessben Media.
He maintained that the video was intended to remain private and denied deliberately releasing it to the public. According to his earlier account, the footage was accidentally uploaded to his Snapchat story while his young nephew was playing with his phone. He said he deleted it after noticing the mistake but alleged that someone had already screen-recorded it.
The controversy prompted Kessben Media to suspend him from duty in July 2026 while the media organisation investigated the circumstances surrounding the video's circulation. Management also appealed to the public to stop sharing the sensitive footage.
DJ KA subsequently issued a public apology, expressing regret over the situation and the embarrassment it caused his family, colleagues, fans and the general public.
