Rayan Mount, a close associate of Ghanaian rapper Strongman, has explained that the musician missed Sarkodie's Rapperholic 2026 concert in Kumasi because he was unwell.
In a social media post, Rayan Mount disclosed that Strongman had been feeling sick since Thursday, prompting concerns about his health and whether he would be fit enough to attend the event.
According to him, Strongman even attempted to attend the show despite his condition, just a few hours after a cannula had been removed from his hand.
Rayan Mount said he had tried to convince the rapper not to go, revealing that they had exchanged several calls on Saturday night as he urged him to prioritise his health.
He further disclosed that a scheduled video shoot in Accra on Monday had to be postponed because of Strongman's condition.
Addressing claims circulating on TikTok about the rapper's absence, Rayan Mount expressed frustration with bloggers who, in his view, were pushing false and defamatory narratives about the situation.
He stressed that Strongman's absence should not be interpreted as disrespect towards Sarkodie or the Rapperholic brand, insisting that the rapper had a genuine health-related reason for not attending.
Rayan Mount also reaffirmed Strongman's respect for Sarkodie, describing the award-winning rapper as a lasting reference point for Strongman and musicians across Ghana.
