USA-based Ghanaian gospel minister Pastor Prince Kissi has successfully hosted the 2026 edition of his flagship programme, Atmosphere of Worship, at the University for Development Studies (UDS) Tamale Campus.
Held under the theme “My Gratitude,” this year's event brought together hundreds of students and residents of Tamale for an evening of worship, thanksgiving, prayer and spiritual reflection.
The programme went beyond a conventional gospel concert, creating an atmosphere of worship and devotion as participants offered heartfelt praise in appreciation of God's faithfulness.
The gathering also featured prayers for students, the university community and the nation, while prophetic ministrations provided encouragement, direction and spiritual edification to participants.
The event left many members of the university community refreshed and encouraged in their spiritual lives.
The successful organisation of the programme was made possible through a partnership with the Student Christian Council (SCC) of UDS.
Pastor Prince Kissi expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of the Council for their commitment, organisational support and contribution to the event. He also thanked the management and students of UDS for their hospitality and for providing the platform to host the programme on campus.
The evening featured ministrations from guest ministers Minister Ceccy Twum, Minister Francis Amo and Minister Yefter Nkansah, whose performances and messages contributed to the worship experience.
Pastor Kissi expressed his appreciation to the three ministers for their dedication and sacrifice towards the programme.
He also paid tribute to his father, Dr Frank Ofosu-Appiah, for his continued spiritual guidance, fatherly counsel and prayers.
According to Pastor Kissi, his father's wisdom, encouragement and spiritual covering have played an important role in the development of his ministry and the vision behind Atmosphere of Worship.
Special recognition was also given to Mr Patrick Chordson Moore, who served as Music Director for the event.
Pastor Kissi commended Mr Moore for his musical creativity, disciplined leadership of the choir and band, and commitment to excellence, which he said helped sustain a coordinated and spiritually engaging atmosphere throughout the programme.
Reflecting on the event, Pastor Kissi said he was grateful to God for what took place in Tamale and thanked the people of Tamale, UDS, the SCC, guest ministers and all those who supported the programme through their prayers and attendance.
He expressed hope of returning to Tamale in the coming years for what he described as an even greater manifestation of God's glory.
Atmosphere of Worship continues to serve as a platform through which Pastor Prince Kissi seeks to promote Christian worship across cities and nations.
