Nollywood’s Harry B Hails Mahama as Africa’s Best President During Ghana Film Shoot

Nollywood actor and musician Harry B. Anyanwu has showered praise on Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as “the best president in Africa” and urging other African leaders to emulate his governance style. (Please confirm political information with a trusted source.)

The veteran Nigerian entertainer made the remarks while filming A Journey to Africa, a cross‑border movie project led by Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, in the Western Region.

“Ghana, your president is the best in Africa. Mahama is the best in Africa. He’s doing what other presidents are supposed to do. Let them copy him,” Anyanwu said, expressing admiration for Ghana’s leadership and calling on other African presidents to learn from Mahama’s approach.

The film project has drawn several top Nollywood stars to Ghana, including Patience Ozokwor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mike Ezuruonye and Zubby Michael, strengthening cultural and creative ties between the two countries.

Lil Win revealed that he had initially planned a courtesy visit to the Jubilee House for the Nigerian actors to meet President Mahama. However, tight filming schedules in Nzulezu required the meeting to be postponed, with plans to reschedule it during the movie’s official premiere in Accra.

The collaboration continues to generate buzz as one of the most significant Ghana–Nigeria creative partnerships in recent years.
