The family of veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Naa Kwarley Nortey has announced October 31, 2026, as the date for her burial and funeral service.
Grace Nortey, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 89, will be honoured with a burial service at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
According to the funeral arrangements announced by the family, there will be no wake ahead of the burial.
The funeral service will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, October 31, after which her interment will be conducted privately.
The funeral rites will continue the following day, Sunday, November 1, with a thanksgiving service at St Barnabas Anglican Church in Osu. The service is also scheduled to begin at 8:00am.
The family has asked mourners attending both events to wear white attire.
Grace Nortey is survived by her five children and siblings.
