Black Sherif says he rarely listens to his released songs

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has disclosed that he hardly listens to songs he has already released, explaining that his focus usually shifts to new music and projects once a song is out.

Speaking on The Brunch in the Citi on Citi FM on Thursday, September 24, the musician said he recently revisited some of his previously released projects, describing the experience as unusual because he normally moves on to his next body of work.

Black Sherif said his constant involvement in new projects leaves him with little time to return to music he has already released.

“Last week, I was listening to all the projects I’ve dropped. You know, because when I have songs, when they come out, I don’t listen to them again.

“I have a lot I’m working on, so I move to the next one. Any Black Sherif song I listen to in my car by myself is unreleased,” he said.
