P-Square had MoU covering Peter, Paul and Jude

Nigerian music star, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has revealed that the defunct music group P-Square had a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) involving himself, his twin brother, Peter Okoye, and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Rudeboy made the revelation while addressing the financial dispute involving P-Square that has reportedly led to an investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a video shared on social media on August 11, 2026, the singer appealed to fans to stop attacking either of the brothers or taking sides, saying such actions would not bring the group back together.

According to Rudeboy, Peter had raised concerns with him about money allegedly made by Jude during the period when the twins were separated.

He said he acknowledged that Jude had made money during that period but maintained that both he and Peter had also earned money independently.

Rudeboy explained that he reminded Peter of an existing MOU which, according to him, recognised Peter, Paul and Jude as having interests in P-Square.

“He told me that we are the artistes, and I reminded him that we have an MOU that stated that everything about P-Square is Peter, Paul and Jude,” Rudeboy said.

He argued that if there were concerns about money made during their separation, the brothers should account for their respective earnings and determine whether any party owed the other.

“The document is there, and if he claims Jude made some money, he should bring the money. Peter and I should also bring the money we made so that we check everything and know who will balance who,” he explained.

Rudeboy also rejected allegations that Jude diverted money belonging to him, insisting that the major challenge facing P-Square was a breakdown in communication rather than theft.

“Jude was never diverting any money and he didn't steal anyone's money. P-Square couldn't communicate, and that was the problem,” he added.

His comments have added a new dimension to the long-running dispute among the three brothers, particularly over the role of Jude and the financial arrangements surrounding the P-Square brand.
