Kofi Owusu Peprah Gears Up for SpiritFilled ‘KOP Live 2026’ in New Dawhenya

Award‑winning Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Owusu Peprah is set to usher believers into an atmosphere of worship, thanksgiving and spiritual renewal at this year’s edition of Kofi Owusu Peprah Live, scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the ICGC Evangel Temple Forecourt, New Dawhenya.

The highly anticipated gospel gathering is expected to draw hundreds of worshippers from across the country for an evening dedicated to exalting God through music, prayer and heartfelt praise.

This year’s edition features a strong lineup of celebrated gospel ministers, including Team Eternity Ghana, Enuonyam, and Pastor Sammie Obeng Poku, who will minister alongside Kofi Owusu Peprah.

Speaking ahead of the event, Kofi Owusu Peprah described the programme as a moment for believers to gather with grateful hearts and acknowledge God’s unfailing goodness.

“As Christians and believers, we should always give thanks and praises to God for all that He continues to do for us. Every day is a testimony of His goodness, mercy and grace. This gathering is an opportunity for us to worship Him wholeheartedly and celebrate His faithfulness,” he said.

He encouraged families, church groups, youth fellowships and individuals to attend, stressing that the event is open to everyone regardless of denomination.

“This is not just another concert. It is a time of genuine worship and an encounter with God. We believe lives will be transformed, hearts will be encouraged and many people will experience God’s presence in a special way,” he added.

Reiterating his invitation, the gospel minister urged patrons to come with hearts filled with gratitude.

“Come with a heart of worship and thanksgiving because God deserves all the glory. Every time is worship time.”

Kofi Owusu Peprah has become one of Ghana’s most admired gospel voices, with songs such as Matwen Awurade Anim, Big God, Meyi W’aye, Nyame Ye, and Grace Found Me dominating worship sessions across churches.

Also set to thrill worshippers is Team Eternity Ghana, the gospel group behind widely loved worship anthems including Defe Defe, Makoma, Aden Nti, and Onwanwani. Their inclusion, alongside Enuonyam and Pastor Sammie Obeng Poku, heightens anticipation for a night of spirit‑filled ministrations.

Organisers say admission is free, giving everyone the opportunity to be part of the worship experience without financial barriers.

With excitement steadily building, Kofi Owusu Peprah Live 2026 is expected to be one of the major gospel events on Ghana’s Christian calendar—offering worshippers an opportunity to lift up the name of God in thanksgiving while enjoying uplifting gospel music from some of the country’s finest ministers.

The event takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the ICGC Evangel Temple Forecourt, New Dawhenya, with organisers encouraging patrons to arrive early for what promises to be an inspiring and life‑changing evening of praise and worship.
