
Kumasi-based radio personality Kwadwo Adu, popularly known as DJ K.A, has issued a public apology following the circulation of a viral private video that has generated widespread discussion across social media.
In a statement titled "Public Apology," DJ K.A expressed deep remorse over the incident, describing the recording of the video as a "serious error in judgment" and taking full responsibility for his actions.
He apologized to his family, friends, fans, followers, employer, colleagues, associates, and the general public for the embarrassment and disappointment caused by the viral video.
"I take full responsibility for my actions. Recording the video was a serious error in judgment, and I deeply regret the decision that led to this unfortunate incident. I sincerely apologize for the disappointment, embarrassment and concern my actions have caused everyone affected."
DJ K.A also addressed speculation surrounding the circumstances of the video's release, urging the public to disregard claims that he intentionally circulated the footage or acted out of frustration.
"I respectfully ask the public to disregard reports suggesting that I intentionally circulated the video or acted out of frustration. While I accept full responsibility for my mistake, I do not want misinformation to overshadow the facts."
The broadcaster further stated that the incident does not reflect his character or the values of the organizations and brands he represents. He noted that the experience has taught him important life lessons and expressed his determination to become a better person.
He also thanked everyone who has reached out with prayers, encouragement, and support during what he described as a difficult period.
Concluding the statement, DJ K.A once again apologized to all those affected and humbly asked for forgiveness and the opportunity to rebuild the trust of the public through his future actions.
The apology comes after a private sex video allegedly involving the radio presenter surfaced online and quickly spread across various social media platforms, sparking widespread public reaction. While the incident has attracted significant attention, DJ K.A has appealed for understanding as he seeks to move forward from the controversy.
