Nigerian singer Tems has revealed that she is not interested in dating fellow Nigerian celebrities because she sees them as her brothers.
Speaking during an interview at the BET Awards over the weekend, Tems responded to a question about whether she would make a move on Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.
The singer said she knows who the footballer is but has never met him personally.
“I know who Maduka Okoye is, but I don't know him personally. I wish I did, though. But shooting shots at him- we don't do that over here,” she said.
Tems explained that she does not view Nigerian celebrities as potential romantic partners because of the close bond they share.
“We [Nigerian celebrities] friend each others and we are family. I see my male colleagues as brothers,” she added.
