Ghanaian celebrities joined fans in celebrating the Black Stars' 1-0 victory over Panama in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ahead of the game, several celebrities shared photos of themselves wearing Ghana jerseys and posted messages of support for the national team on social media. Following the victory, many returned online to congratulate the Black Stars on their winning start to the tournament.
Among those who shared photos in Ghana jerseys were actress Joselyn Dumas, musician Stonebwoy, Mr Eazi, Kweku Flick, media personalities Nana Aba Anamoah, Abena Kyei Boakye and Berla Mundi, who all celebrated the team's success.
The celebrations followed a dramatic finish to the match, with Caleb Yirenkyi scoring deep into stoppage time to secure a 1-0 victory for Ghana over Panama.
