Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” US tour suffered a major setback on Thursday after Ticketmaster abruptly cancelled his scheduled performance at The Armory in Minneapolis.
The show, planned for November 28, 2025, was called off at the last minute due to low ticket sales.
The cancellation also affected another upcoming date on the tour, with the December 1 concert in Chicago similarly removed from the schedule. Ticketmaster confirmed both cancellations on its website, offering no detailed explanation.
The development comes in the wake of growing public criticism directed at Burna Boy after he walked offstage on a couple who appeared to be dozing during his Colorado performance.
The incident went viral, and the backlash intensified when the artist later remarked on an Instagram live session that he preferred “supporters who buy tickets” over casual fans. It later emerged that the woman seen sleeping had been grieving a recent personal loss.
Burna Boy acknowledged the cancellations on Friday morning, posting a direct link from the ticketing platform showing that both concerts had been scrapped.
The tour’s organisers have yet to publicly address the situation as fans continue to react online.
