Ghanaian artiste Nanasei is set to release his highly anticipated album 'Music And God' on June 17, an 11-track project that promises to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual dimensions of life.
Featuring an impressive lineup of collaborators and producers, this body of work positions Nanasei as a distinct voice with a profound message in today’s music scene.
The album features a rich array of talents, including King Ayisoba, Jay Erl, Saxquito, Dee Tutu, Bornlion, Mawulino, Lilian, Kelly Bullet, Maame Alpha, and Bra Panda, offering a sonic diversity that reflects the multi-layered nature of the project.
On the production side, Music And God boasts contributions from some of Ghana’s finest beatmakers. SkantyBeatz brings his signature touch to five tracks: Africa, 80’s Thug, Go It Harder, Trouble In Paradise, and Ratings. Jay Erl not only lends his vocals but also produces four emotionally charged tracks: A Father’s Sacrifice, When Heroes Let You Down, Confession, and Trophy.
The album also features Mr. Money produced by Lawrence Beatz and Inna Di Yard crafted by Slim Kiti.
Music And God explores dualities—music as the physical expression of Nanasei’s artistry, and God as the spiritual driving force behind his journey. The album is not just a collection of songs but a conceptual statement about the human experience, purpose, and the unseen hands that shape destiny.
With a fusion of highlife, hip-hop, reggae, Afrobeat, and spiritual overtones, this project serves as both a musical offering and a philosophical reflection on life, purpose, and divine guidance. It affirms Nanasei's place in a new generation of African musicians who aren’t afraid to confront complex themes with bold creativity.
Music And God will be available on all digital streaming platforms (DSPs) starting June 17.
