The theme highlights the urgent need to strengthen and celebrate Ghana’s wellness and healthcare sectors as essential pillars for national growth and resilience.
The awards are driven by a clear mission: to identify, recognise, celebrate, and promote excellence and innovation among individuals, teams, and initiatives in Ghana’s wellness and healthcare sector. The initiative responds to a growing crisis—Ghana continues to experience the emigration of healthcare professionals in search of better opportunities due to long-standing issues of low motivation, limited recognition, and lack of appreciation.
This event seeks to reverse that narrative. By spotlighting exceptional practitioners and visionary initiatives, the Ghana Wellness and Healthcare Awards not only sets a higher standard for excellence but also fosters national pride and restores value to a sector too often overlooked.
With a bold vision of “A Healthy and Wealthy Ghana for All,” the 2025 edition will bring together policymakers, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, wellness advocates, and the media to foster meaningful dialogue on the role of wellness and healthcare in Ghana’s economic and social progress.
The awards are spearheaded by Founder, Mr. OB Sinachy, Co-founder, Dr. Alberta Ama Atta Ackon, and Project Chair, Madam Vivian Awinne—visionaries united by their commitment to advancing health equity and wellbeing across the country.
