Nigerian musician Joeboy has revealed that he is not a fan of overly talkative women, stating that excessive chatter is a dealbreaker for him in relationships.
In an interview with Zikoko, the 'Baby' hitmaker explained his stance when asked about what turns him off in a relationship.
“I don't like girls that talk too much… I don't mean girls that are expressive. Being expressive is different from talking too much. Some people just talk too much, and I don't like that,” he said.
Joeboy also highlighted another red flag for him—partners who constantly seek validation on social media or compare their relationships to others.
“If she is always posting for validation or saying, 'Oh, this person is doing this in their relationship, why don't we do this?” he added.
Despite his firm stance on these dealbreakers, the singer disclosed that he is currently in a relationship. One of the things he loves most about his partner, he shared, is her sense of humour.
