Ghanaian entertainer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has raised concerns about alleged threats he has received following his plans to endorse a political party in the upcoming 2024 elections.
The Kumawood actor, who had earlier promised to unveil his preferred party and release a free campaign song on December 1, revealed in an Instagram video that some faceless persons have warned him against proceeding with the political endorsement.
The callers, as per Lilwin's account, did not disclose their party affiliation but cautioned him against releasing any political endorsement song.
Undeterred by the threats, Lilwin expressed his determination to proceed with the planned song release, asserting that he is prepared to face any consequences that may arise.
However, Lilwin has set forth a condition for reconsidering his decision in the face of these alleged threats.
In the Instagram video, he stated, "If they refund him the $1,500 studio fee, the money paid to his lyricists, and other expenses incurred in the production and release of the song, I will reconsider my decision."
