Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician MOG Music has been inducted as a member of the Grammy Recording Academy, organizers of the prestigious Grammy Awards.
Joining the Recording Academy not only allows members to vote in the annual Grammy Awards selection process but also gives them a voice in shaping the music industry through advocacy efforts.
As a member, MOG Music will be able to:
• Submit projects for Grammy consideration
• Vote in the Grammy selection process (for voting level members)
• Advocate for music rights and policies
With his induction, MOG Music has become the first-ever gospel artist from Ghana to join the Grammy Academy.
The singer expressed his joy at joining the Recording Academy in a tweet on June 27th, 2022.
He said, "Grace up, a step up. Another time and opportunity to put Africa and Ghana on the map. Thanks Recording Academy. Happy to be a member of this great family."
