Chief One dominates Chinese music charts with song titled ‘Young Boy’

Musician Michael Ivan Nyagamagu, popularly known as Chief One, has defied language barriers to become a global sensation with his Ewe laced hit songs.

The young artiste, whose hit songs such as "Wotelewoea," "Du Agbe" and "Toyota" have gained popularity both locally and internationally, has made it to the Top 100 songs in the Chinese music charts with his single "Young Boy."

In a recent interview on Accra-based TV3 New Day, Chief One expressed his excitement about his global music success and the quality of his music as the reason for his popularity.

He said, "I play in Togo and other countries. Music is a language in itself and currently, my music, 'Young Boy,' is in the Top 100 China Charts."

Chief One remains optimistic about his music, stating that his home language, Ewe, is not a barrier to his success.

He added, "Aside from Ghana, the country with my most streams is the United States of America."

His unique blend of Ewe language and Hip-Hop beats has captured the hearts of music lovers around the world, and he continues to dominate the global music scene.

As a nominee for VGMA New Artiste of the Year, Chief One's success story is an inspiration to aspiring musicians.
