After a hiatus from the Ghanaian music scenes, Hiplife artist Sony Achiba has revealed where he has been over the past years.
In a recent interview with the Ghana Weekend news portal, the artist has debunked all claims that he had relocated to the United Kingdom for greener pastures.
The ‘Nipa Boniayefo’ hitmaker revealed that he relocated to the United Kingdom to further his education where he read a course in Business Management to add value to his craft.
“Because I didn’t get the opportunity to further my education in Ghana, I decide to go to school. I studied Business Management. I did both a diploma and a degree,” he said.
He indicated that like many Ghanaian artists who relocate to the diaspora, he had to get himself a new job so he could survive in the United Kingdom.
The artist who started as a footballer indicated that he would have had a blossoming career if he had given it more attention.
Sony Achiba who ventured into artiste management recently announced that his act Lady Blue, formerly known as Queen Peezy is set to release her 15 – track album.
