Award-winning Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has revealed that as part of her passions she was at some point a rapper.
The actress, born and raised in Dansoman, Accra stated in a recent interview that she was entertainment inclined during her senior high school days.
On the contrary, her interest in arts and entertainment back in the days did not evolve around what she is known for currently because she was a rapper.
Speaking on Mahyasie Show, Yvonne Nelson stated that she was on stage during entertainment periods in her Alma Mater Aggrey Memorial School.
She said she was a renowned campus rapper because she was a tomboy.
The actress who doubles as a producer added that she was strongly influenced by rap heavyweights like Lauren Hill, Obrafuor, and Nas.
According to Yvonne, she was more committed to her passion than academics and this she said affected her greatly when after SSCE she realized that her mates had excelled while she was still home.
She however stated that she came in contact with acting after she took part in the 2005 edition of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant.
